The main purpose of the VIPS Gala is to raise funds to support the education of children with blindness and low vision throughout Kentucky and Indiana. Ninety percent of what a child learns is through their vision, and eighty-five percent of the foundation of learning happens in the first five years of life. VIPS provides important early childhood intervention services to young blind & visually impaired children during these critical early years when major development take place.
